Next-Generation Battery Technologies: An Industrial Prospective
內容摘要：
Energy storage systems are so important nowadays that many key applications require a powerful battery to fulfill their demands. Electric vehicles, large-scale stationary energy storage for smart grids, and novel portable electronics all rely on the energy density and cycle life of batteries. In industry, many global companies and startups are working tirelessly to develop innovative battery chemistries to make our life better. Various approaches in terms of materials designs, new battery configurations, and advanced manufacturing methods will be introduced in today’s seminar from the industrial perspective. We hope to show the major industrial efforts, and therefore researchers in academia may work altogether to optimize the next-generation battery systems.
