題目:碳材料的表面工程用于增強感測和能源轉換應用 Surface Engineering of Carbon Materials for Enhanced Sensing and Energy Conversion Applications

摘要:This study employs surface functionalization techniques to synthesize functional groups on the surface of carbon materials. By the molecular dipoles of these functional groups, the surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) effect is utilized for excellent trace substance sensing. Additionally, the performance of solid-solid triboelectric nanogenerators (SS-TENG) and liquid-solid sliding direct current nanogenerators (LS-DCNG) is enhanced by the surface functionalization. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations indicate that binding copper ions to the surface of oxidized graphene generates a series of C-O-Cu functional groups, increasing the molecular dipole up to 26 times. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) validates the heightened dipole intensity and polarity reversal on the surface. This strong molecular dipole demonstrates excellent SERS sensing, surpassing the previous limitations of high sensitivity only achievable with precious metals. Furthermore, the surface dipoles of C-O-Cu contribute to the improved performance of SS-TENG through a unique gain mechanism resulting from surface band bending, a phenomenon reaffirmed by C-O-Cu surface dipoles. In addition, the treatment of graphite paper with fluorine plasma yields the C-F functional groups, enhancing the liquid-solid friction-induced electricity generation effect of the graphite paper. This results in a direct current generation of 3.2 μA/cm².
