Adhesion of Soft Biomedical Coatings on a Blood-Contact Implant
內容摘要：
The surface modification of titanium biomedical substrates by self-assembly composite layers have made remarkable progress with blood compatibility. However, the long-term performance under hemodynamic environment is majorly determined by the coatings’ adhesion and should be carefully validated. In this talk, various approaches to evaluate the adhesion of these innovative coatings will be introduced. Among them, the well-developed orbital shaking test and its consistency with micro-scratch test is especially highlighted.
