題目：Fluorinated micelles for improving the efficacy of photodynamic therapy under hypoxic condition
內容摘要：
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has been emerged as an alternative therapeutic modality in treatment of several malignant tumors. However, the therapeutic efficacy of PDT is often limited by the solubility of photosensitizers, tumor hypoxia and lack of target specificity to cancer cells. To address these problems, we designed a simple strategy by using the polymeric micelles with the targeting function as an oxygen-efficient fluorinated nanosystem to relieve the hypoxia conditions in cancer cells and effectively enhance PDT efficacy. Two topics will be introduced from the design rationale of polymeric micelles to in-vitro study on therapeutic efficiency. In addition, we established a three-dimensional in vitro multicellular tumor spheroid model to simulate the complexities of solid tumors for evaluation of penetration efficiency, phototoxicity and therapeutic efficacy of the fluorinated micelles.
