題目:高熵材料的開創及原點訓練的重要性 Innovation of high-entropy materials and the importance of ab initio training

摘要:高熵合金源於台灣清華大學,主講人1995年開始探索,2004年起陸續發表論文,現已蔚為新興材料領域。傳統合金幾乎都以一個金屬元素為主,而高熵合金則顛覆此傳統配方觀念,由多個主元素所構成。高熵合金具有高熵、緩慢擴散、晶格扭曲及雞尾酒四項核心效應,可產生優越的特性,進而突破傳統合金應用上的瓶頸。由於高熵合金系統難以計數,其新成分、新現象、新功能及新應用提供了龐大的研究契機。因高熵合金的開創係由零開始,且在質疑聲中前進,主講人不但為之命名及定義,而且論述及驗證。因此主講人特別提出原點訓練的重要性,與大家分享經驗與智慧。 High-entropy alloys originated from Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. The speaker began exploring them in 1995 and published papers since 2004. It has now become an emerging material field. Traditional alloys are almost based on one metal element, while high-entropy alloys subvert this traditional composition concept and are composed of multiple main elements. High-entropy alloys have four core effects: high entropy, sluggish diffusion, lattice distortion and cocktail, which can produce superior properties and break through the bottlenecks of traditional alloy applications. Since high-entropy alloy systems are numerous, their new compositions, new phenomena, new functions and new applications provide huge research opportunities. Because the creation of high-entropy alloys started from scratch and progressed amid people’s doubts, the speaker not only named and defined them, but also discussed and verified them. Therefore, the speaker specifically mentioned the importance of ab initio training and shared his experience and wisdom with everyone.
