Theoretical Investigations on the Catalysis and Gas Sensing Applications via Two-dimensional Materials

演講摘要：
Two-dimensional (2D) materials have been investigated in many fields in the past decade, such as photoelectric materials, catalysts, and gas sensors. There are many types of 2D materials, such as carbon materials and transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs). This presentation will introduce our recent studies using 2D materials as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and NOx gas sensors. Besides, I will also introduce the catalytic conversion of methane to value-added chemicals via 2D carbon materials. Finally, I will briefly introduce our group's recent works on the photocatalytic water-splitting reaction via 2D van-der Waals (2D-vdW) heterostructures.
